Technology
595 nm Pulsed Dye Laser
Overview
The Vbeam™ 595 nm pulse dye laser has long been considered the "gold standard" for the treatment of vascular lesions. It can also be used for the treatment of acne, psoriasis, stretchmarks (striae), scar revision, keloids, warts (verruca) and wrinkle reduction treatments.

The innovative extended pulse durations, up to 40 ms, deliver energy to targeted blood vessels over longer time frames thereby resulting in a more gentle heating effect generating a more uniform coagulation of the targeted vessels. This gentle heating enables the treatment to minimize or eliminate the purpuric response commonly associated with a pulsed dye laser treatment.
The Vbeam™ utilizes Candela’s Dynamic Cooling Device (DCD™), which is an epidermal protection technology that maximizes patient safety and comfort during treatment.
