Nevus are a conglomeration of melanocytes normally located in the basal layers of the epidermis. They may appear in the form of Junctional, Compound, Intradermal and Intramucosal nevus and may be light to dark in color. These skin lesions are not present at birth but appear over time. Birthmarks and moles are considered nevi.West Coast Laser recommends the following systems for acquired nevi reduction treatments:
